FIRE, the industry-led Forum for Innovation and Research in European Earth Observation, is a Horizon 2020 project aimed at shaping the Research and Innovation Strategy for Earth Observation (EO) solutions in Europe. It focuses on user communities in a range of sectors including agriculture, energy, raw materials, infrastructure, marine, and urban spaces. A dedicated ‘EO Evangelist’ programme promotes the adoption of EO solutions in these sectors. Open dialogue with users, through focus groups and networking events will guide the development, delivery, and uptake of EO products and services for these sectors in Europe.
Evenflow leads the development of the EO Research & Innovation strategy and is responsible for the production of a roadmap for future EO solutions. We are also in charge of impact maximisation activities, strategic communication, and a sustainability analysis for the exploitation of the project results. Finally, Evenflow contributes to sectoral analysis and stakeholder engagement in the development of both the roadmap and the Research and Innovation strategy.
