Monitoring the changing climate has become a policy priority across the globe, with the European Green Deal at the forefront of European policy in this sector.
The Copernicus programme provides a wide range of services and data to help monitor the environment and our impact on it. The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) is the Entrusted Entity to which the European Commission has delegated the implementation and management of the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) and the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S).
As well as providing specialised information for climate science and research, these services provide actionable information for a host of interested parties, ranging from farmers and insurers to pollen forecasters and urban planners. It is therefore important for ECMWF to ensure that the services and their many benefits are effectively communicated to policy-makers, businesses and citizens in Europe and beyond. For this purpose, ECMWF issued a set of Framework Contracts covering content production, public and media relations and events. Evenflow, together with its partners, successfully contested two Lots in this procurement, for events and communications content production.
Evenflow provides strategic advisory and content production services to ECMWF through this contract, drawing on our deep knowledge of the Copernicus programme, and on our specific experience in helping to develop a tourist-focused air quality app (DiscovAIR).
