ThinkingEarth is an EUSPA-funded Horizon Europe project aiming to develop the first Copernicus Foundation Models alongside a graph-based representation of the Earth. By combining artificial intelligence, Earth observation data, and digital twin approaches, the project seeks to deepen our understanding of how Earth’s systems are interconnected.
Through four real-world Use Cases, ThinkingEarth supports Europe’s clean energy transition, advances system-level Earth science, and assesses the impacts of climate change on biodiversity and food security. The project’s AI-powered solutions enable more integrated, scalable, and explainable analysis of complex environmental processes, helping bridge science, policy, and operational decision-making.
Evenflow leads the communication, dissemination, and engagement activities. This covers the development of the ThinkingEarth visual identity and communication strategy, as well as the delivery of outreach through the website, visual content, social media, articles, interviews, and events. Through workshops, hackathons, and collaborations with the wider research and AI4EO communities, Evenflow helps ensure that ThinkingEarth’s results are widely shared, understood, and adopted.
Evenflow also leads the project’s impact monitoring, socio-economic value analysis, exploitation strategy, and IPR management. This includes tracking progress against KPIs, assessing the wider economic, environmental, scientific, and societal benefits of the project’s AI-powered Earth observation solutions, and supporting partners in defining sustainable exploitation pathways.
