Energy & Raw Materials

Energy and raw materials sit at the heart of Europe's climate, competitiveness, and security agenda. The energy sector offers strong potential for decarbonisation and innovation across power generation, grids, and markets, yet it faces growing complexity from intermittent renewables, rising electricity demand, grid congestion, and extreme weather. Raw materials, and critical raw materials in particular, underpin the same transition, since clean technologies, batteries, and grids all depend on a secure and responsibly sourced supply, a priority now anchored in the EU Critical Raw Materials Act.

As both sectors shift towards data-driven systems, Earth Observation powered services are becoming essential, providing scalable insights on resource availability, climate risks, and environmental impacts to support planning, operations, investment, and policy decisions.

Evenflow has extensive experience in user requirements and uptake, market development, EO demonstrator design, training, and communication across both fields, working closely with ECMWF, EUSPA, ESA, and the European Commission, alongside B2B assignments. In energy, we translate EO and climate data into operational services across solar, wind, hydro, and grid infrastructure. In raw materials, we apply the same approach to mineral exploration, mine monitoring, and the analysis of supply and environmental risk, helping to build the evidence base for a secure and sustainable European supply chain. In each case we bridge the gap between data providers and real user decision-making.
