EuroGEO, Europe’s branch of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO), sits at the intersection of research, policy, and markets. The two-year project EuroGEOSec aimed to establish the EuroGEO Secretariat to support the EuroGEO initiative, just like other regional GEO initiatives such as AfriGEO, AmeriGEO.
Evenflow’s role involved tasks aimed at maximising the impact of research and innovation (R&I), including dedicated case studies (CS) showcasing potential innovation and market development support services that the EuroGEO Secretariat could offer. These CS examined the support needs of stakeholders in bringing R&I results to market and tested the R&I Observatory tool (RIO). Five Operational Pipelines (OPs) were defined to address these needs, with each representing a key link in the EO value chain where challenges may arise.
