Evenflow leads this ECMWF Copernicus demonstrator project showcasing how CAMS and C3S data can be used to better understand and anticipate the impact of atmospheric and climate conditions (particularly dust and clouds) on solar energy production in the Mediterranean region. The HowMuchSun service provides short-term nowcasting of solar power generation (up to 6 hours ahead, every 15 minutes) for one of the world’s largest solar parks, Benban (Egypt).
Evenflow acts as prime contractor and overall project lead, responsible for coordination and delivery oversight. Evenflow leads user requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, and communication and dissemination activities, ensuring the service responds to real user needs and supports uptake by energy and climate stakeholders.
