Portfolio

Copernicus Energy Hub
Duration

The Copernicus Energy Hub supports the increased uptake of Copernicus data and services for the energy sector, covering the full portfolio of Copernicus Data and Services. The activity aims to facilitate the effective use of Earth observation-based information for various energy processes, including energy system planning, renewable energy deployment, infrastructure management, climate resilience and the green transition. It includes targeted user outreach, community building, identification and analysis of user needs, development of sector-specific content and use cases, and continuous monitoring of policy, market and technology trends relevant to energy stakeholders.

Evenflow’s role

Evenflow provides energy-domain expertise and user uptake support to ECMWF for the implementation of the Copernicus Energy Hub. The team contributes to stakeholder engagements, community shaping, user intelligence and (website) content development activities, working with actors throughout the energy value chain, including public authorities, system operators, service providers, researchers and industry users. Evenflow supports the identification of priority applications, documentation of requirements and barriers, development of use cases, organisation of outreach events and trainings, and translation of Copernicus capabilities into accessible, user-oriented materials.
