The Copernicus Urban Atlas product provides high-resolution land-use, land-cover data, population estimates and building height measurements for European urban areas. This product is integral in supporting users, such as national and European policymakers, academic researchers and industry in deriving insights which support sustainable urban planning, policy development, and environmental monitoring. We help the European Environment Agency reach these users, informing them and driving the adoption of the product.
As the lead of the Urban Atlas user uptake component, we are supported by the technical production consortium members, developing comprehensive communication and user outreach toolkits including web content, feature stories, presentations, and social media assets.
This also includes event and webinar support, as well as a technical showcase toolkit featuring Jupyter notebooks and tutorials to support data uptake.
