Space-based solutions, including Earth Observation, Satellite Navigation and Satellite Communications, support a wide range of applications that underpin sustainable development efforts across the globe. Such solutions help financing institutions, international and intergovernmental organisations (such as UN agencies), foundations and corporate actors carry out impactful projects responding to national and local needs but also supporting the achievement of jointly agreed goals. In this context, international collaboration is critical in order to unlock the full breadth of benefits stemming from satellite-based solutions.
Evenflow has been actively supporting international development efforts through the implementation of several impactful projects. Thus, we have been deploying our communication services portfolio in the context of ESA’s Global Development Assistance (GDA) Initiative, where Evenflow leads the Cross-Cutting Activity – “Communicate · Connect · Cooperate” (CCC). In parallel, we have been supporting the efforts of the European Commissions Directorate-General on International Partnerships by contributing to Technical Assistance Facilities in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific. In this context, Evenflow helped draft the policy and associated actions plans around the "Space Flagship" for the EU-Africa cooperation and spearheaded the deployment of the Evenflow-built EO Maturity Indicators Methodology in numerous countries across the globe.
We are also providing hands-on support on international collaboration efforts within the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS), by first supporting and then leading the Executive Office. Evenflow has also made significant contributions to the work of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO), supporting the implementation of the European Regional GEO (EuroGEO) and rolling out innovative tools that help the transition of R&D to operational services.
