The Evenflow Traineeship Programme
With major ongoing and upcoming projects at the intersection of space and its verticals, Evenflow has launched a new traineeship initiative to give early-career professionals hands-on experience across its work in research and analysis, innovation support, strategy, and communication, through active involvement in EU-funded projects and contracts. The programme targets Master’s students and recent graduates (up to two years after graduation).
Duration & Format
The traineeship is generally designed as a full-time, in-office placement, usually lasting around six months. However, the duration, start date and working arrangements may be adapted where necessary, taking into account project needs, participant availability, academic commitments and applicable university requirements.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate would be a versatile and highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, an ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, and an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a willingness to learn.
Skills and qualifications
- Ability to prepare content for multiple social media platforms (LinkedIn, Bluesky, Mastodon), translate complex technical, policy, or research-related information into clear and engaging communication materials, and organise and promote events and webinars.
- Ability to manage websites (mainly WordPress), with working knowledge of digital analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, social media insights and SEO tools) and the ability to prepare basic analytics reports.
- Ability to work well both independently and within larger teams.
- Excellent written and spoken English (C2 level).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Graphic design skills (e.g. InDesign) would be considered a strong asset.
- An interest in EU policy, innovation, sustainability, and technology-related communication, including the European Space Programme (e.g. Galileo, Copernicus and EGNOS) and EU-funded projects, is desirable.
Daily tasks
Evenflow is involved in several contracts with EU institutions and agencies as well as R&D projects, contributing to user uptake, market development and strategic activities around the European Space Programme and its applications.
The Communications Trainee will contribute to activities including:
- Creating engaging social media content (copy and visuals) across various platforms, preparing content for newsletters, video scripts and digital/print materials (e.g. brochures, posters, rollups, infographics).
- Creating content for project websites (blogs, news and events announcements).
- Preparing and executing events and workshops.
- Updating Evenflow’s database and conducting competitive landscape analysis.
- In addition, and depending on their interests and abilities, the selected trainee may also support proposal development, desk research, and stakeholder mapping depending on project needs.
