The Evenflow Traineeship Programme

With major ongoing and upcoming projects at the intersection of space and its verticals, Evenflow has launched a new traineeship initiative to give early-career professionals hands-on experience across its work in research and analysis, innovation support, strategy, and communication, through active involvement in EU-funded projects and contracts. The programme targets Master’s students and recent graduates (up to two years after graduation).

Duration & Format

The traineeship is generally designed as a full-time, in-office placement, usually lasting around six months. However, the duration, start date and working arrangements may be adapted where necessary, taking into account project needs, participant availability, academic commitments and applicable university requirements.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate would be a versatile and highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal, critical-thinking and analytical skills, an ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, and an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a willingness to learn.

Skills and qualifications

  • Ability to conduct desk research, collect and analyse information from multiple sources, and synthesise findings into clear and structured reports.
  • Ability to conduct market analyses, competitive landscape mapping and trend monitoring, and contribute to strategic roadmaps, action plans and business recommendations.
  • Ability to work well both independently and within larger teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C2 level).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of business planning, market entry strategies or innovation support is considered an asset.
  • An interest in EU policy, innovation, sustainability, and technology-related markets, including the European Space Programme (e.g. Galileo, Copernicus and EGNOS) and EU-funded projects, is desirable.

Daily tasks

Evenflow is involved in several contracts with EU institutions and agencies as well as R&D projects, contributing to user uptake, market development and strategic activities around the European Space Programme and its applications.

The Business and Strategy Trainee will contribute to activities including:

  • Supporting the implementation of EU-funded projects and contracts.
  • Conducting desk research and contributing to market, economic and policy analyses, competitive landscape mapping and trend monitoring.
  • Supporting the preparation of reports, strategic roadmaps, action plans and business recommendations.
  • Assisting in stakeholder engagement activities, including the collection and analysis of user requirements and market insights.
  • Contributing to the development of business plans, market entry strategies and other strategic support activities.
  • In addition, and based on their interests and abilities, the selected trainee may also support proposal development and business development activities depending on project needs.
